School Elections are very crucial for the students, as this kind of activities will mould leadership qualities in students right from young age.

Being a part of school electoral process gives immense pleasure and opportunity to learn many things. This will help one to know where he/she stands, how capable one is in executing work, how commendable one is in maintaining discipline, how coordinative one is in understanding things patiently. .

  • It is good for the students to feel themselves the adult one and they can understand liabilities and responsibilities, which are really of great importance to them.
  • Students should know the meaning of leader in real life, tasks of a leader, so that they can choose their nation builder.
  • For becoming educated future politicians students know about politics, constitution, election rules and regulations in their early stages.
  • The student volunteers learn and teach their peers, how to manage small budgets, they run effective student meetings to develop qualities desired by their teams such as leadership, influencing, multi-tasking, organizing, communication, negotiating, decision making and enhancing resilience.
  • A sturdy student council can assist in planning and development of various cultural, sports, social, recreational and other educational interests.
  • There is a scope to contribute in development of students’ leadership skills, programme planning and volunteering.
